Deadly earthquake, Fire alarm, Shower thoughts and F1 Frenzy
A weekly newsletter from a 13 year old trying to balance school, parents, activities & the world…and of course, homework. An honest description of how I see the world.
~3 on School~ Falls and Fire alarms
I had a sleepover with my friends yesterday and it was really fun! We were both talking and it was late at night, so we were making really big hand gestures to emphasise what we were talking about. She was swinging her arms and almost fell of the bed!!🤣🤣
On Tuesday, we were just about to start walking the stairs up to class when the fire alarm rang! So everyone rushed to the hall and we sat there for 10 min, waiting for it to be over. Then finally it was and we left for our class again but this time when we were halfway up the stairs, the alarm rang again! We had to go all the way back down then up when it was done😅😅😅
In PE, my friend was running really fast and she collided with another person😱! She fully flipped then fell to the ground and her whole leg was bruised. We went to the nurse to get ice for her and the nurse was like “Just bring her here,” But we couldn’t because she couldn’t walk! So she had to go in a wheelchair!🤣
~2 on Family~ F1 Frenzy
Since the F1 Grand Prix is happening in Singapore next weekend, there has been so much rush and lots of new things! We went to a strand of pop up stalls on orchard road full of F1 merch that was pretty cool!
After that we did a F1 simulation that was like Gran Turismo. It was at the end of the road and it was really fun! Even though I was really bad at it I still enjoyed, my Brother was way better at it though.
~1 on World~ Over 2,000 dead in Morocco
The deadly 6.8 earthquake that has hit Marrakech, Morocco. Germany, Austria, India and more countries have offered to send aid in the light of one of the most deadly earthquakes in North American history. Most of the cities parks and plazas have been turned into campsites after fear of most quakes hitting areas with high buildings.
~SONG OF THE WEEK~
You Give Love A Bad Name By Bon Jovi. Lately I’ve been listening to old songs, and they are so catchy and amazing!
~FACT OF THE WEEK~
People are more creative in the shower because when we take a warm shower, we experience an increased dopamine flow that makes us more creative!
