~3 on School~ Expo, Errors and Exercise
We have had SO MUCH Expo preparation work! At least 3 hours a day is dedicated to doing whatever stage you are at for Expo. The teacher told everyone that we had to be finished with our first draft by the end of this week, and then on Friday we had to print it up and give it. So when everyone was putting their print-outs on the chair, I noticed my friend wasn’t there. So I went over to her place and I asked her “Why aren’t you giving our print out?” and then she said that her laptop just wasn’t printing the document. Then after (many, many) unsuccessful tries, we realised oh wait, the printer settings wasn’t on! 😂🤣
Since it’s almost the end of the year (weep, weep) every class is getting their yearbooks. So my Mom is the one who gets to organise the class photos from our camp, (that was at school, obviously since we couldn’t go anywhere with Covid) and she asked me to organise them! So then yesterday day I was doing that and I found a photo that made me remember a very funny moment……….
So in camp, we were doing this teamwork exercise where they give us clues and once we find the clues we have to use the hole punch next to it to confirm we finished that clue station. So we were on our last clue are our team was going all over the place shouting “FIND IT, FIND IT!!!” We had all split up in different directions. I was looking through some bushes on the side away from my group, but then I found it! THE LAST CLUE!! So I went jumping over bushes to my group and that was the exact moment when the teacher took a photo and I am practically leaping in the photo! Oh and my hand is flying everywhere to signal them that I found the clue! (But I look less heroic in the photo) ☺️😂😂
~2 on Family~ Valentinos & Country Comfort
Since Singapore has imposed even tighter covid restrictions that start today, yesterday my family and I went to this amazing restaurant! VALENTINOS!! Valentinos THE BEST….everything really! I always go for their pink pasta with chicken inside (it’s called this really long and fancy Italian name that I can’t write, or pronounce) 😂
A new series came out on Netflix that my brother and I have been watching a lot! It’s called Country Comfort (and I’m pretty sure everyone has watched it already, but still). Its AWESOME! Also incredibly funny!!! Just hearing them talk is really interesting because they all have western accents, and I live in Singapore!
~1 on World~ Indias situation is getting worse.
A top scientific adviser to the Indian government warned on Wednesday the country would inevitably face further waves of the coronavirus pandemic, as almost 4,000 people died in the space of a day. With hospitals scrabbling for beds and oxygen in response to a deadly second surge in infections, the World Health Organization said in a weekly report that India accounted for nearly half the coronavirus cases reported worldwide last week and a quarter of the deaths. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government has been widely criticised for not acting sooner to suppress the second wave, after religious festivals and political rallies drew tens of thousands of people in recent weeks and became "super spreader" events.
"We are running out of air. We are dying," the Booker Prize-winning author Arundhati Roy wrote in an opinion piece that called for Modi to step down.
"This is a crisis of your making," she added in the article published on Tuesday. "You cannot solve it. You can only make it worse....So please go."
Medical experts say India's actual figures could be five to 10 times the official tallies. The country has added 10 million cases in just over four months, after taking more than 10 months to reach its first 10 million.
~SONG OF THE WEEK~
In Country Comfort, they sing this song called 5-1-5-0 by Dierks Bentley. It’s really catchy!
~FACT OF THE WEEK~
Carrots weren’t always orange. They were once purple! I have never heard of purple carrots! Imagine if that was in the ancient times, and if we time travel back to those times with purple carrots and bring orange carrot with us, they would be like “OMG orange carrots??!?”
Share 3,2,1 among your friends & have a Superduperfantafabulous week ahead….
