A weekly newsletter from a 13 year old trying to balance school, parents, activities & the world…and of course, homework. An honest description of how I see the world.
~3 on School~ First week of school!
The first week of school was super fun! Meeting all my friends after a long time was really nice and playing with them. My new class also seems enjoyable, so hopefully this will be a good year!🎉
A funny thing that happened at lunch was that I was going to sit with my friends from another class, but I couldn’t find them because the new Grade 8 layout was still confusing for me so I just went to their locker and wait for them!😅🤣
When the finally came from the opposite direction as me, we got even more confused until we realised our schedules were different because we were in different classes across the grade🤣🤣
~2 on Family~
Today my Dad and I went to watch the Barbie movie! It was pretty late but I couldn’t watch it in the holidays and I was really excited to watch it. It was really funny and I love the fact that it wasn’t the basic Barbie movie, it was live-action and the plot was really funny and the music was really good!💖💖
As I said before, I really liked the music because artrists like Dua Lipa, Nicki Minaj and Billie Eilish had sung songs in the movie and it really increased the vibe of whatever was going on. Also Ken was such a funny character and his view of everything was hilarious🤣
~1 on World~ Trump raised $7.1 million since he was in jail
Since appearing Thursday to have his mugshot taken in a fraud case in Atlanta, Georgia, the former president brought in US$7.1 million, a spokesman said on X (formerly known as Twitter.) There are multiple companies that have already started making merch out of his mugshot photo, which are soaring.
~SONG OF THE WEEK~
My Blood By Twenty One Pilots. This song was in a book that I recently read, and it’s been on loop in my head every since!
~FACT OF THE WEEK~
People used to say “prunes” while taking pictures. In the 1840s, it was considered childish to smile for pictures so it became popular for people to say “prunes” instead of “cheese” to keep their mouths sharp.
