~3 on School~ SPRING BREAK!!!
Friday was the last day of school!!! I was sooooo happy!!!! Now finally we have two weeks of spring break! In the second last class of the last day of school, we had P.E. (physical education) and it was AWESOME!! We played tournaments of short tennis, and my friend and I teamed up and we won (most) of the rounds! But in the end, there was these two other girls who thought they were so cool, smart and they could take down anybody. They started really getting on our nerves and then, my friend was impulsive and did a really high and hard shot that literally no one could have shot back!😳😯! But she didn’t know that the P.E. teacher was right behind us!! I tried to tell her but she was to triumphant! But when she looked back, she saw that the teacher was giving her that I-saw-what-you-did-don’t-you-dare-try-to-lie look. From the other side, the two mean girls were giving a HA-you-are-so-busted look! Then all of sudden my friend pointed at the mean girls and just said “They started it!”
In the last class on Friday, we watched the series we had been watching at school called Hardball! Its all about this handball tournament and what this kid does to get in it and (tries) to win it. We still don’t know if he does yet!!! Its really funny and suspenseful! This was the first time we watched Hardball in 5 WEEKS! And other classes have already finished 2 series already! Then as a surprise, the teacher gave us CHOCOLATE!!!!🤩🤩😄!! So we ate and watched! By the time the episode was over, I had already finished the packet! When my friend sitting next to me saw that I had finished, she as like “YOU FINISHED??! ALREADY?!” then she looked at her packet and started to stuff it all in her mouth🤣🤣.
Today we had a Holi party!! Holi is a Indian celebration where you put artificial colours on each other to celebrate the arrival of Spring! Though with the 8 people limit, it was just a few friends. Before most of the people arrived, my friend and I were filling up water balloons and she was putting the water balloons in the water and I was holding the bag where the water balloons were dropping in. Then just one time I move the bag to adjust my grip on it and she’s like “Mysha!?! HOLD THE BAG STILL!!” and half of the water balloons fell out! Then we had to fill the rest and pick up the ones on the floor😁🤣!
~2 on Family~
Today we watched Godzilla vs King Kong!!!!! It was extremely tubular!🤩👌❤️😄 It was SO suspenseful that I was just watching intently the whole time! People of all ages will like- wait no LOVE IT!!!! If you are bored and free, WATCH IT!!! (you won't regret it😁)
Yesterday my Mom and I went to the AMAZING restaurant called Monti! We parked, but then we went up some stairs we saw and went all around the WHOLE Fullerton area! Then when my Mom called the restaurant people to ask where the restaurant is, they told us where to go and when we reached, the restaurant was actually right next to the place we parked! We just took unnecessary SUPER LONG route. My Mom and I had rooftop dining, so when we reached, it was breathtaking! The view and the atmosphere was just phenomenal! And the chocolate lava cake was…..wow. Just wow.
~1 on World~ Suez Canal Situation~
Joe Reynolds, chief engineer of the Maersk Ohio, told the BBC the number of vessels waiting at the canal's southern entrance was "growing exponentially"."It's going to affect shipping schedules around the world," he warned. Tugboats and dredgers are trying to dislodge the Ever Given, which is wedged diagonally across the waterway. *** Specialist salvage companies have been brought in to help re-float the ship, and an adviser to Egypt's president has said he hopes the situation will be resolved within two to three days. But experts have said it could take weeks if the vessel's containers need to be removed. About 12% of global trade passes through the 193km (120-mile) canal, which connects the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea and provides the shortest sea link between Asia and Europe. Basically that means, if the Ever Given ship doesn't move in the next few day, by next week we could have no chocolate, coffee, or anything that is imported to Singapore. Imagine a world without CHOCOLATE!!!
~SONG OF THE WEEK~
Party in the U.S.A by Miley Cyrus. Because right now I really with I was in the U.S.A!
~FACT OF THE WEEK~
While you sleep you can’t smell anything – even really, really bad or potent smells. Some people might think that’s really weird, but honestly, I’m thankful! If my brother farts in the middle of the night, I wouldn’t smell it! If a patch of cow poo get’s dumped on my head, I wouldn’t smell it👌! When I sleep, I would be as dead as sleeping beauty was, not for a 100 years though!
